Government should take legal action
As a bystander at the Guyana Public Service Union (GPSU) rally last week, I heard Speakers making some very strong allegations against the Government of the day.

I hope Government will take legal action against those persons who publicly call the Government ill names. When the People's National Congress (PNC) was in office no one could have made such slanderous and derogatory statements.

Imagine people who call themselves Trade Union Leaders calling on people to "forget" that the Police exist. Then with the same breath they call on the Police to enforce the Laws of Guyana.

These so-called leaders should review their thoughts before they make public statements.

I am hopeful that the Government will stop the "eye-pass" and disrespect soon. Some of these people feel they are untouchable. The Government should stop being lenient with them and take action.
