I note with utter disbelief the wanton attacks by Buxtonians on Indos on the East Coast. Yes, there has been a resurgence of the crime wave. When would the PNC/R ask their supporters not to attack innocent Indos? Driving fear will ultimately lose out in the end. That worked well during the PNC/R era. Their attempts to revive it will fail. I am happy that the PPP/C has condemned the most recent attacks while GID and the PNC/R have kept their usual silence. State Senator Sampson went with GID to Washington to ask the State Dept to carry pressure on the Guyana government to carry out an investigation into allegations of a Death Sqaud. He is now going to Guyana next week for up-to-date information. The US Ambassador Mr Bullen, GID, Senator Sampson, and all the brothers seem to working together.
