 India is changing it's views towards PIOs in the diaspora. This is the ideal time for organisations such as the GPIO to lobby the Indian military attache in Washington. If several of us write the minister of Defence , George Fernandes and simply state that we would like PIOs to have an education and a bit of specialised military training he might be prepared to listen. Indians are too damn dominated by fear. Some people are prone to see all the negatives. If you go and tell the Indian government that you want to train Indians to resist the criminal elements they will ignore you.

The Indian government will chose not to get involve if representatives say their is high kidnapping and murder etc.... Any form of negotiations must be done in a manner that is non threatening to India's image....... In Trinidad there are presently over 100 Libyan trained operatives. Nobody talks about that!! These operatives are the brains behind the kidnapping operations. They have Al Queda type training and that is why they have been so successfully in making Trinidad #2 on the kidnapping charts.

 They are even using a quarry in Trinidad to specialise their training. They also have a deal with the present administration. When your people are under attack you must chose the pathway of resistance in all the necessary forms. When bandits come to rob and kill in Guyana they enter in with AK47's, the weapon of choice. Ordinary citizens cannot resist these people. What is even more disturbing is that these "terrorist" are not caught but continue to do their sadistic deeds......
