Kidnapped schoolboy found dead

SIXTEEN-year-old Roy Joshua Belle, a student of the School of the Nations in the city and of 178 Sun Flower Circle, South Ruimveldt Park, Georgetown, who was kidnapped in the vicinity of the Stabroek Market area on Saturday afternoon, was found dead on the northern parapet of the Pattenson/Turkeyen Public Road, East Coast Demerara, at around 22:30 hrs Monday.

A Police press release said the body with mouth gagged by a piece of white cloth which was tied behind the neck, was clad in black trunks, three-quarter light blue pants and a white Polo tee-shirt.

A black suitcase was found on the body which also bore marks of violence, and a pair of `Nike' sneakers lay nearby
