These included one word processor, one monitor and
keyboard, four UPSs, Twelve CPUs, one projector, one
laser jet printer, and six earphones all the property
of the Ministry of Education.
The case against the two states that guards, Ann
Holland, employed by Amazon Security Service and
Brental Allen, were doing the nightshift at the
school.
At about 12:30 am they were attacked by three men,
two of whom were carrying handguns.
The victims were placed in the school corridor as
the men allegedly went into the computer room and took
the mentioned articles. They subsequently made good
their escape after an alarm was raised.
In the aftermath a search was carried out around
the school grounds and a silver grey car was found
containing a quantity of the missing items. Some were
found in a nearby bush.
Both defendants were arrested and told of the
allegations against them. Frank said he was the driver
of the car but then stated he was hijacked by two men
and that the vehicle was taken near to the school.
De Souza claimed he was not around at the time of
the incident.
