and is about a deranged man who injured 11 people when he chopped down a
tree in the Le Repentir Cemetery.
During
Hoyte era, Ronnie, a pan boiler at Blairmont estate, was walking up the
Canje bridge with his bicycle. Unaware that the man was behind him, he was hit
on his head twice with an iron bar and pronounced dead
at New Amsterdam Hospital.
Under
Colonial rule, I had no idea as to what a person with mental illness looks

The
annoying observance of these deranged or mad people is when they approach you
for money, they smells and refusal to give them , watch out for their violent
behaviour.
I
saw no deranged or mad people in cities like Bombay, Hyderabad and Madras -
