PNC leaders have no right to harass Gajraj

Dear Editor,

The PNC has been harassing Ronald Gajraj over his alleged connection with a death squad, the same PNC that is supposed to have evidence on this matter but will not give it to the police which is the rightful authority to investigate such matters.

However, let us without prejudice examine what authority, moral or otherwise, the PNC has to harass Gajraj.

In 1963 the police published the terrorist report after investigating the PNC X13 terror plan. In that report, places targeted in X13 that were bombed were Sawh's Restaurant at Durban and Hardina Streets, Rio Cinema in Albouystown and the launch Son Chapman among other places. Cheddi Jagan, the then Premier of B.G., said publicly that when he saw the report he called the governor who had executive powers and pointed to him that the whole PNC leadership was implicated in that report but of course Sir Richard being anti PPP.......

During the PNC's 27 years in office several persons were killed by kick-down-the-door bandits, among them were two jewellers Shivram and Basil Kowlessar also Ronald Ram and Edmond Calder. I don't know of one person who was ever held for those crimes.

The PNC allowed Jim Jones to bring over nine hundred black Americans and murder them here.

When the Buxton bandits were carrying out their murderous campaign the PNC did not condemn it, in fact PNC leaders went to Buxton to say they were being wrongfully accused.

PNC leaders should atone for their past and leave Gajraj alone.

Yours faithfully,

Wendell P. George
